Daisy , an Old English Bulldog had a c-section to deliver 4 healthy babies on 10-23-06.

Most bulldogs are delivered by c-section, due to size of puppies heads, and much increased surviveability of puppies if delivered by caesarian. We use local anesthetics and epidurals, and deliver babies with mother fully awake.
